PRACTICE RE-LOCATION

The practice has now relocated from 23rd April 2018 to our brand new premises based within Everton Road Health Centre. The premises is a purpose built NHS building which will offer fantastic opportunities to grow

 

In August 2016 The Partners of Rutherford Road Medical Centre in Aigburth joined the practice and Dr Renton retired. Our move to the new building is a fantastic opportunity to take the practice forward. The new health centre offers phlebotomy services on site as well as other community services such a treatment room making it much more convenient for our patients.

 

New Joint Injections Clinic

We have regular minor surgery clinics and Joint Injection clinics. These clinics offer injections for Shoulders, Knees, Elbows, and Feet, and excisions of small lesions not requiring a hospital appointment. 

 

Patient Participation Group

The last meeting of the practice Patient Participation Group was held in June 2018 and the progress and outcomes from the meeting have been minuted and are available for all patients to peruse, just ask a member of our staff and they will supply you with a copy.

 

PATIENT ONLINE SERVICES

You can now have access to make appointments and order you repeat medication on line from home. If you would like to enquire further please contact our friendly reception team who will be more than happy to provide you with information.

Accountable GP

Please note that all patients registered with the Practice have been allocated an accountable GP.  You can obtain the name of your accountable GP by contacting the Practice.

Declaration of GP Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS Services to patients at each practice.

The annualised mean earnings for GP's working in Islington House Medical Centre in the financial period ended 31st March 2017 was £29,283 before deduction of employees superannuation contributions, tax, and national insurance.  This is the average pay for the 4 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months during that period.
