April 2026: NHS App & Communication Update
We are encouraging all our patients to start using the NHS App, a quick, secure, and convenient way to manage your healthcare.
With the NHS App, you can:
- Order repeat prescriptions
- View your medical records
- Check referrals
- Manage hospital appointments
- Receive messages from the practice
Using the NHS App helps you stay in control of your health and reduces the need to call or visit the surgery for routine requests.
From April 2026, we will be moving towards primarily communicating with patients via email or the NHS App, rather than SMS. If you do not already have the NHS App, we recommend downloading it and ensuring notifications are turned on.
